Lake Carolina's 6th Annual Fall Wine Festival will be held on October 19, 2008 beginning at 2:30 p.m. This year's Festival is presented by Essex Homes, one of Columbia, South Carolina's largest and most successful homebuilders. Among the many enhancements to the Festival, this year there will be a Private Pre-Party for the Reserved VIP Tables (see details below).

Imagine entertaining friends and clients at a very classy wine tasting event. Over 100 different fine wines from all over the world will be served and lavish, gourmet food will be prepared by renowned chefs from around the Midlands. This year, we're proud to announce that the Reggie Sullivan Quartet is performing jazz at the Festival. We have more notable chefs coming to prepare signature dishes including the chefs from Carrabba's Italian Grill, Chef John Militello, Connoisseurs Corner, Sweet T Catering and Bambino's Pizzeria. The Silent Auction features South Carolina artists and this year's promises to be bigger and better!

All the net proceeds from the event are distributed by Children's Charities of the Midlands, a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization which impacts the lives of children right here in the Columbia area. Since inception, the Children's Charities has donated nearly $60,000 to various Midlands charities.

Reserved VIP Tables

Please consider becoming a Reserved VIP Table Sponsor. For your contribution of $500, you will receive 10 tickets to the Festival, a decorated table with reserved seating for 10 and special festival activities and promotions available exclusively to the reserved tables including private wine tastings and delicious food. This year, we are adding a very special Private Pre-Party for VIP Guests Only which will start at 1:00 pm. This is a perfect opportunity for entertaining potential clients or rewarding loyal customers or top-performing employees. Plus, a significant portion of your contribution may be expensed as a contribution to charity.
