Lake Carolina offers a variety of other amenities for active neighbors, including 20 miles of walking, biking and jogging paths, junior Olympic swimming pool with bath house, cabana, summer kitchen and separate kiddie pool, and of course the 200-acre deep-water recreational lake stocked with game fish and ready for fishing, swimming, water-skiing and more! Opportunities for more passive recreation abound at Lake Carolina as well, with over 117 acres of parks, greenspace and natural preservation areas.

Home to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, Columbia is the site of a full array of exciting Southeast Conference sports. Columbia plays host to some of the finest golf courses in the Southeast, and within easy driving distance are various pro sports teams for Major League Baseball, NBA and NFL excitement.
