The YMCA of Greater Columbia is pleased to announce the addition of the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA at Lake Carolina. The YMCA opened its doors on Saturday, November 3, 2007 and has already grown in membership to nearly 1,000 family memberships (or 2,900 individual members). The Jeep Rogers Family YMCA is unique because of its partnership with the Lake Carolina community. Through this partnership, the YMCA and the city will continue to build strong kids, strong families, and a stronger community.

The Jeep Rogers Family YMCA is a 55,000 square foot, $10 million, state-of-the art facility with:

§         Wellness Center

§         Elevated indoor running track

§         Full-size gymnasium

§         Multipurpose room

§         Eight-lane indoor swimming pool

§         Tennis courts

§         Cutting-edge KaBOOM! playground designed by local children.

The YMCA offers excellent programming such as traditional aerobics, yoga, pilates, cycle, weight training and many other group exercise classes, open swim for the entire family, sports leagues and much more!

Young children and teens have plenty of activities to get involved in at the YMCA. There are sports leagues for all ages, summer day camps, overnights with swimming and movies, dances, and other great teen programming!

The greater Northeast Columbia area has embraced the YMCA of Greater Columbia with the opening of the new YMCA located at 912 Lake Carolina Drive.
