New Developments for 2008

In the next few years, Lake Carolina will continue to grow and develop. On the southern side of Lake Carolina, Lake Carolina Drive has been extended into the large 184-acre parcel known as Centennial. This roadway now intersects with Summit Parkway and offer residents a closer connection to the Two Notch Road area. Centennial features Centennial Park - a 5-acre, $1.2 million pool and playground with tennis courts, Summer Kitchen and changing rooms. Centennial features a variety of homes in various price points ranging from Courtyard Executive Homes to Cottage Homes to spacious Traditional Brick Single-Family Homes. A new section, Centennial Lakes has opened with opportunities for building homes on three sizeable lakes and the Centennial Lakes neighborhood overlooks beautiful Lake Carolina.

On the northern side of Lake Carolina, a large 171-acre parcel known as Ashland has been released for sale. The primary builder in this neighborhood is Essex Homes SE and the company will offer a continuation of three very successful Lake Carolina product lines - the Berkeley Hall product which is priced from the $180's to $250's; the Laurel Chase product which is priced from the $275's to $350's; and the Berkeley Manor product which is priced from $350's to $400+. Two decorated model homes will open in 2008.

Also, SE Miller Classic Homes is opening a new neighborhood in the lakefront neighborhood of Woodleigh Park. SE Miller will continue to offer their exciting line of neo-traditional, vernacular homes with exceptional floorplans that they have perfected in Harborside. The new homes will be exceptionally priced from $250's to $300+ and a decorated model will open in 2008. Another very successful Lake Carolina builder, Zeigler Home Builders is offering a new brick and stone accented courtyard home product in Berkeley Landing, a lakefront neighborhood. John Zeigler envision these homes will be priced from $300's and his company will open a decorated model in 2008.
