The luck of the Irish is upon us in two short weeks...along with one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day festivals in the Southeast! Grab your tickets now for St. Pat’s in Five Points and experience the greenest holiday like never before. Here are a few fun facts you need to know:

1. It’s a massive festival...
Along with being one of the largest St. Patty’s Day festivals in the region, St. Pat’s in Five Points is the biggest street festival in the Midlands! Held in the Five Points business district, it’s full of entertainment, special events and, of course, food and drink!

2. ...with a LOT of people.
Why is it the biggest street festival in the Midlands? Over 40,000 ‘honorary Irish’ guests attend each year.

3. It was created to celebrate “all things green and Gaelic, welcome the arrival of spring and promote the businesses in the Five Points village.”
If you’re new to the area, attending this festival is the perfect way to familiarize yourself with local businesses. Tons of arts and crafts vendors bring personality to St. Pat’s, while local restaurants and pubs serve tasty treats that are sure to put you in the Irish spirit!

4. There’s something for everyone (even kids!)
While adults might want to grab a drink and listen to music, kids can have the time of their life at the festival’s children’s carnival. Families with little ones can also check out the Pot O’ Gold Playland, open from 10am-6pm.

5. You can experience a “Silent Disco”.
Silent discos are all the rage. Grab a pair of headphones and show off your greatest dance moves. You can also tune into the festival’s dueling DJs!

6. There’s an annual St. Patrick’s Day parade you don’t want to miss!
What’s St. Patty’s Day without a parade? Get your green on at this exciting, energetic celebration.

7. You can take part in the ‘Get to the Green’ marathon.
Before you indulge in festival food and tons of beer, participate in the annual ‘Get to the Green’ run, which offers three different trails: a 10k, 5k, or Family Fun 1-miler.

8. Live music is included.
It wouldn’t be a festival without some live entertainment. From noon until 7pm, enjoy bands and musical acts on four different stages.

9. It’s an all-day affair.
Get an early start on the festival fun, with gates opening at 9am and closing at 7pm. You can purchase tickets here.

10. There’s more fun to be had in the surrounding community!
